Jim Berg Featured in Rutgers Law School Publication for Helping Students During Covid-19 Print PDF

01.08.2021

Rutgers Law School's alumni newsletter featured a profile of partner Jim Berg on the program he and the firm put into place to help Rutgers law students this academic year.

When law students began learning remotely and many no longer had access to services that include printing, Jim realized a way he could help students at his alma mater this school year and discussed it with his fellow founding partners Jay Ibrahim and Scott Parker, who both have deep ties to Rutgers as graduates of Rutgers College.

As a result, PIB Law decided to offer a complimentary printing solution for students experiencing printing-related difficulties in preparing for their final exams due to the ongoing health crisis.

Jim said, “We recognize the challenges and pressures on students and this solution was a simple way to mitigate those issues and give back to the legal community that has given so much to me (and my law partners).”

The firm was able to help students all over the country. Jim noted, “This is a crazy time for all of us. If we can make someone’s day a little easier, isn’t that the right thing to do? It’s what we should do.”

Jim is a member of the Rutgers University Foundation Board of Overseers and an advisory board member for the Rutgers Center for Corporate Law and Governance.
