Christopher G. Sweet

Chris is PIB Law’s Chief Operating Officer where he is responsible for implementing and overseeing all aspects of the day-to day legal practices, operations, and continuous, strategic growth of the firm.

Chris directs all management functions, including strategic pricing, billing, human resources, recruiting, marketing, facilities management and administrative policies and procedures. Chris has extensive experience and expertise in legal data analysis and predictives as well as with designing and negotiating alternative fee arrangements (AFAs), rate management and legal project management (LPM). 

Prior to joining PIB Law, Chris was a Director of Consulting and Legal Business Solutions where his responsibilities included assisting Fortune 100 legal departments with operations and strategy. Formerly, Chris was the Executive Director of Outside Counsel Engagement at JPMorgan Chase & Co., responsible for designing and negotiating AFAs, legal spend analysis, rate negotiations and competitive selection (a/k/a “RFPs”). He was the first head of an LPM and analysis team for an Am Law 100 law firm where he counseled law firm partners on portfolio and significant matter pricing and project management. Chris started his legal operations career at GlaxoSmithKline, a pioneer legal department in managing external legal spend.
