Melinda Colόn Cox will be installed as President-Elect of the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey (“HBA-NJ”) on October 24, 2018 at the 39th Installation and Swearing-In Ceremony. Melinda will serve as the 40th President of the HBA-NJ during the 2019-2020 term. Founded in 1980, the HBA-NJ is a “statewide organization which represents the interests of attorneys, judges, law professors and law students who share a common interest in resolving the issues affecting Hispanics within the legal community.” The HBA-NJ also works in conjunction with other Hispanic community, business, civic, charitable, and cultural organizations, and other legal organizations, in order to further its goal of representing, advancing and empowering the Hispanic community.
