Anthony W. Vaughn, Jr. is Of Counsel to Parker Ibrahim & Berg LLC, and focuses his practice on the representation of financial institutions in the mortgage banking industry. He also represents architects and engineers providing litigation and general counsel. Mr. Vaughn has extensive experience with complex commercial litigation, specifically real estate, construction and professional liability matters. Additionally, Mr. Vaughn's experience includes handling transactional matters for commercial clients and individuals.
Prior to joining Parker Ibrahim & Berg LLC, Mr. Vaughn was an Associate with Gogick, Byrne & O'Neill, LLP where his practice focused on the representation of design professionals in relation to professional liability and construction matters. His responsibilities included handling complex claims from intake to trial, including all facets of discovery, appellate practice and client management. Prior to joining Gogick, Byrne & O'Neill, LLP, Mr. Vaughn was an Associate at Borchert, Genovesi, LaSpina & Landicino, P.C. where he managed a wide variety of real estate matters, including disputes relating to real estate sales, purchases, consumer lending, adverse possession, fraud and property damage.
Mr. Vaughn is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York and is a member of the Construction Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Garden State Bar Association, the Metropolitan Black Bar Association and the Kings County Inns of Court. Mr. Vaughn received his B.A. from Morehouse College, and his J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where he served as the President of the Black Law Students Association.
Mr. Vaughn volunteers his time in support of Career Gear's MAST Mentoring Program, where he serves as a mentor to formerly incarcerated men, providing advice and emotional support to assist them achieve life balance.
